Struga TL recovers in Lake Ohrid after derby win
On 08.09.2026 the First League side took an aquatic recovery session in Lake Ohrid following yesterday’s victory over Sileks.

08.09.2026 — With no official matches scheduled today because the country celebrates its national day, Struga TL’s players used the morning for active recovery in Lake Ohrid after yesterday’s important First League derby win over Sileks.
Light recovery after a heavy test
Photos from the session show smiling faces as the squad relaxed in the water — a welcome cooldown after beating a tough opponent and regaining contact with Shkëndija in the title race.
The club’s early-morning routine took advantage of Struga’s close proximity to the lake, turning what would normally be a standard recovery run into a low-impact aquatic session that helped players loosen up and recover energy.
Had it not been for the earlier draw with Skopje in the Football Federation of North Macedonia competition, Struga TL would now be leading the table — a reminder of how fine the margins are in football: create ten chances, score only one and you may still fail to win.
