Strumica v Pelister — Pelister: young Strumica must not be underestimated
Pelister travel to Strumica after beating TFT and insist they will not underestimate the newly promoted side.
The second round of the Super League will conclude today with a match in Strumica between Strumica and Pelister. Pelister opened the season with a home victory over TFT and now travel to seek a second win.
Pelister arrive as the pre-match favourites but have stressed they will not take the newly promoted side lightly; the squad says the mood is upbeat and they intend to give their all in Strumica.
Pelister warns against underestimating Strumica
"The atmosphere in the team is at a high level after the win in the first game of the season. We are working hard and are maximally focused for our next game against Strumica. This is a new young team in the Superleague, but under no circumstances should they be underestimated," said Luka Savichevic, who together with his teammates wants to keep Pelister alongside MZT Skopje and Rabotnicki.
MZT Skopje and Rabotnicki currently sit among the teams with two wins from two matches, and Pelister aim to join them with a second straight victory.
Strumica returned to the elite this season after a long absence; in round one they were beaten at home by Rabotnicki. The encounter in Strumica is scheduled to tip off at 17:00 (5:00 p.m.).
