Suzana Gavazova posts message and pool videos for Independence Day

Suzana Gavazova marked North Macedonia's Independence Day on September 8 with a short, emotional message for the nation and a series of glamorous poolside videos that quickly circulated on social media.

On Instagram the popular folk singer opened with a brief holiday greeting: "Happy Independence Day, Macedonia!" and followed with a longer note addressed to citizens enduring hardship.

Message and images: patriotism followed by performance

In her extended message she wrote that the greeting was for "our people, for all who for years endure, suffer injustices, unfairly fight for their work and for a better life, and yet do not give up on their country." She added a wish for a fairer future: "May the day come when justice is equal for all, when the honest person is valued, and Macedonia will be a country where young people want to stay, and the people will live with dignity."

Immediately after the patriotic post, Gavazova published short clips showing her dancing energetically beside a pool. She wore a tight green set with a deep neckline and a cropped top that revealed her flat stomach, complemented by bold jewelry, white nails and a wide smile as she moved to the camera.

The singer, known for combining emotional statements with glamorous appearances, often shares moments from her private retreat in Dojran. Her home there — with a luxurious pool and a spacious terrace offering panoramic views — is where she spends time with her husband, Jasmin Kuruzović, and daughters Emili and Selena.

Whether celebrating a family moment or posting provocative swimwear clips, the Strumica-born performer once again drew attention and reactions across her fan base.
