Mounir Nasraoui involved in airport incident in Barcelona
Allegations say Nasraoui spat at a waitress and tried to throw a chair before flying to London on October 27, 2026.

Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal, has been reported to have taken part in a violent confrontation at Barcelona airport before flying to London for the Ballon d'Or ceremony.
Allegations at the airport
Multiple outlets report the episode occurred while Nasraoui was preparing to board a flight to London on October 27, 2026. The dispute is said to have started after he placed his jacket in a restricted area and was asked by staff to move it. According to witnesses, the exchange escalated into a heated argument.
Those accounts claim Nasraoui spat at a female hospitality worker and then assaulted a male bystander who intervened to defend her. Reportedly, he also grabbed a chair and tried to throw it at the man. Police are said to have intervened and calmed the situation. There are no publicly confirmed charges or sanctions at this time.
One widely circulated social post summarised the episode this way: "NEW: Lamine Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, was reportedly involved in a heated altercation at the airport before boarding a flight to London for the Ballon d’Or gala." — via @elespanolcom (October 27, 2026).
Additional footage from the days around the Ballon d'Or shows a separate confrontation after the ceremony in London. A clip posted online depicts Nasraoui reacting angrily when a Russian camera operator approached him outside the London Palladium. The footage suggests Nasraoui moved toward the man and nearly knocked the phone from his hand.
Despite the incidents involving his father, Lamine Yamal himself was not implicated. At the Ballon d'Or gala the Barcelona winger finished third in the main Ballon d'Or voting and won the award for the best young player.
