TFT beats Skopje 102–98 for first win of the season
TFT held off a late Skopje comeback to secure a 102–98 victory and register their first victory of the 2026–27 campaign.
In the Round 2 opener on October 8, 2026, TFT defeated Skopje 102–98 to claim their first victory of the season. The win comes after TFT lost their opening game to Pelister, and it was secured in a tense finish that saw the visitors cut the margin to two points before time ran out.
The hosts exploded out of the gate, building a 30–18 lead in the first quarter when everything clicked for the Taftalidze side. Skopje responded by taking the second quarter 23–22, and the third quarter finished level at 22–22, but TFT kept the edge thanks to their strong start.
Key moments and individual performances
Skopje won the final period and mounted a late comeback that reduced the deficit to -2, creating drama in the closing seconds; however, they could not complete the reversal. TFT held on to the narrow lead to secure the 102–98 result.
Cvetkovski led TFT with 24 points and Sila added 23 for the winners, while Parker was outstanding for Skopje with 31 points.
The match also carried a side note: the visiting club, until recently known as Madzhari, suffered their second defeat of the young season.
