TFT signs 18-year-old Gjorgji Cvetkovski
Skopje club strengthens its roster for the 2026/27 season by bringing in one of North Macedonia’s top U18 scorers.

TFT Skopje announced the signing of 18-year-old guard Gjorgji Cvetkovski as it continues to assemble its squad for the 2026/27 season.
Young scorer joins a youth-focused project
Cvetkovski arrives after a standout summer with North Macedonia’s under-18s, where he averaged 17.3 points per game at the U18 European Championship and shot 45% from beyond the arc, finishing as the tournament’s second-highest scorer and earning consideration for the MVP award.
At the domestic U18 Final Four, while representing Vibas of Skopje, he produced a 30-point performance in the semifinal and then exploded for 39 points and 11 rebounds in the final against Vardar, registering an efficiency index of 41 in a head-to-head duel with Grigorij Gjorgjević, who is also a new addition to TFT.
With Cvetkovski on board, TFT effectively combines the backcourt pairing from the national U18 team, underlining the club’s stated strategy of investing in homegrown talent and building for the future.
Club officials framed the move as both a sporting and developmental investment: adding a proven scorer at youth level while creating a pathway for young Macedonian players to transition to the senior roster for 2026/27.
Preseason preparations in Skopje will now include integrating Cvetkovski and Gjorgjević into TFT’s rotation as the club prepares for the upcoming domestic championship and regional commitments.
