Tikvesh visit Arsimi in Gostivar aiming for all three points

The Macedonian First Football League (PMFL) resumes its 10th round today with the closing fixture Arsimi vs. Tikvesh in Gostivar, kick-off scheduled for 14:00 on 19 October 2026.

Two teams with contrasting objectives

Arsimi arrive with the immediate goal of securing points to move away from the danger zone, while Tikvesh travel with title ambitions — a win would firmly place them among the top three contenders.

Tikvesh from Kavadarci have been one of the season’s most attractive sides and have been beaten only once so far — a 0:1 home loss to Shkëndija Arachinovo on 15 August. Since that defeat they have played six matches, including an away victory over Shkëndija Tetovo and draws with Vardar and Struga TL.

Oliver Bogatinov has rebuilt Tikvesh into a cohesive unit despite a squad made up largely of foreign players. His side is characterised by a clear game plan, a proactive approach and the constant search for a decisive goal and three points — an approach they will try to apply again in Gostivar.

Arsimi, the team from Chegrane, have shown mixed form in recent matches: a draw with Shkëndija (Tetovo), a heavy 6:0 defeat at Struga and then a draw with Sileks — only two points collected from the last three games.

The match in Gostivar starts at 14:00 and will be officiated by referee Krumislav Gjorgjiev.
