Tomovski makes seven saves but Bietigheim fall 30-35 to Hamburg
Martin Tomovski stopped seven of 33 shots (21%) in Bietigheim’s 30:35 Bundesliga defeat to Hamburg.
October 17, 2026 — Martin Tomovski produced seven saves in goal for Bietigheim, but the hosts were defeated 30:35 by Hamburg in a German Handball Bundesliga match.
Tomovski finished with a 21 percent save rate after stopping seven of 33 shots directed at his net while spending 43 minutes and 24 seconds on the court.
Strong individual output, team defeat
Seven of Tomovski’s saves came from six-meter attempts, yet his performance could not prevent Bietigheim’s loss at home. The margin reflected a match in which the visitors scored more consistently across both wings and the pivot.
The result leaves Bietigheim with another setback in the Bundesliga while Hamburg collected the win with a five-goal difference.
Earlier, the Bitola side scored 39 goals in an away match at Prilep.
