Tony Parker: Kishim 59 milionë — po paguajmë për gabimet e Monakos!
Parker thotë se buxheti i njoftuar prej 59 milionë eurosh ishte i disponueshëm, por DNCG refuzoi financimin — ASVEL do të garojë me 24 milionë në 2026/27.
Tony Parker thotë se plani i tij për ta bërë ASVEL-in një nga klubet më të pasura në Evropë ishte real, por është shtyrë për shkak të pengesave rregullatore lidhur me Monakon.
Ai kishte njoftuar një buxhet prej 59 milionë eurosh dhe synimin për të nënshkruar yje të mëdhenj, por tani thotë se financat ishin të disponueshme dhe se probleme të jashtme e detyruan ndryshimin e planetit.
Plani nuk u braktis, vetëm u shty
Në një intervistë për radion RMC, Parker konfirmoi se ASVEL formoi një ekip për sezonin 2026/27 me një buxhet të reduktuar prej 24 milionë eurosh, por shpreson të kthehet te një buxhet më i madh verën e ardhshme.
Ai shpjegoi se një fond investimesh nga Malajzia ishte planifikuar të ndihmonte në financim, por DNCG — rregullatori francez financiar sportiv — refuzoi të aprovojë atë financim. Parker tha se shtyrja është pasojë e "gabimeve të Monakos" dhe se klubi nuk i përfundoi në kohë detyrimet për të kënaqur autoritetet e federatës.
"Yes, I announced that budget, but that is because we had it. Obviously we are paying the price for Monaco's mistakes. We were not able to finish everything that was needed in time to satisfy the federation authorities. The project will be realised. It is a shame it was delayed for one year, but I understand people's frustration," tha Parker.
Ai shtoi: "I see the bigger picture and I am thinking about the next 10 to 15 years. In two or three years we will have forgotten this episode. In the meantime we still have a very large budget and an excellent team. We will be competitive and fight for trophies. It is not easy to implement big sporting projects in the current circumstances."
Për përgjegjësinë personale ai deklaroi: "We should be proud of what we have done, and next year, if everything goes well, we will return to a big budget. I understand that people may think I rushed, but that did not happen at all. I cannot go into details because of confidentiality agreements. I am on the front line and I take responsibility," tha Parker.
