Tose Efremov to stay with Slovenian Črnuče for next season
18-year-old senior international will remain at Črnuče after the club’s promotion to the Slovenian Superliga.
18-year-old senior international Tose Efremov will wear the jersey of Slovenian side Črnuče again next season, the club confirmed on 31.08.2026.
Črnuče secured promotion to the Slovenian Superliga last season and moved to keep the core of the squad; Efremov is among the players who have renewed their commitment to the team.
Young player aiming to build on last season
“I am very happy that next season I will have the opportunity to play in the Slovenian Superliga. I am grateful to Črnuče for the trust and for the opportunity they have given me. Last season the club gave me a big chance to show myself and gain important experience, and now I am motivated to take another step forward. Črnuče is already a familiar environment for me, because I played with some of the players last season. That gives me additional motivation and I believe it will help me fit even better into the team. I am aware that the Superliga brings greater competition and stronger matches, but that is precisely the challenge I am looking for. I want to justify the trust that has been given to me, to give my maximum for the team and through every training and match to continue to improve. I am proud that as a young Macedonian volleyball player I have the opportunity to represent North Macedonia outside our country. My goal is to continue working, to become better and with my performances to show that Macedonian volleyball also has young players who can compete at a high level. I believe an excellent season awaits me and I eagerly await the new challenge,” says Tose Efremov, who is currently preparing intensively with the national team for participation in EuroVolley 2026.
For the 18-year-old Efremov this will be his fifth season abroad and his second in Slovenia. Previously he appeared for Radnički Kragujevac in Serbia and for Ribola Kaštela in Croatia.
Efremov started his career at club Vesna Probištip and has also played in the domestic championship for Strumica Nikob.
