Tragedy in Pančevo: Two young men jumped from a bridge into the Tamiš River
Rescue teams recovered one person who later died; intensive search continues for the second.

Two young men jumped from a bridge into the Tamiš River in the Serbian town of Pančevo at around 9:00 on Monday morning, a dramatic incident that prompted an immediate emergency response.
Local fishermen who were on the river witnessed the jump and alerted rescue teams and police, who arrived at the scene and began search-and-rescue operations.
Unofficial reports indicate the two men were Turkish citizens, but authorities have not released confirmed personal details while the investigation is under way.
Rescue crews recover one person
Rescue services first pulled one person from the water; although that individual initially showed signs of life, they died shortly afterwards despite doctors' efforts to save them.
An intensive search is continuing for the second person. Local emergency teams remain on the river, and investigators are working to establish the circumstances that led to the jump.
