Trump also addressed U.S. ammunition stocks amid tensions with Iran, asserting the United States possesses a "practically unlimited amount of ammunition" and "significantly more than needed for use against Iran." He added that U.S. arms production is ongoing at large scale.
Observers have treated his comments as a response to reports that inventories of certain precision weapons and air-defense missiles fell after the conflict with Iran, raising concerns about U.S. military readiness for potential future conflicts.
