U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media that Kyiv and Moscow have reached an arrangement not to target each other’s energy infrastructure.
In his brief message, Trump linked global diesel price increases to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and dismissed Iran as the main cause.

Trump wrote that both sides had undertaken not to strike energy facilities: "Ukraine agreed not to attack Russian energy targets. Russia agreed to do the same. The rise in the price of diesel in the world is mainly caused by the war between Russia and Ukraine, and not by Iran," Trump said.
The post did not include details about when or how such an understanding was reached, nor did it cite evidence or identify who on either side negotiated the apparent pact.
