Ukraine struck Russian Black Sea coast with 500 drones; two killed
Krasnodar governor says Novorossiysk was hit; 21 residential and four commercial buildings damaged.
Ukraine carried out a mass drone strike against the Russian Black Sea coast involving around 500 unmanned aerial vehicles, and at least two people were killed, the governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratiev, said. He said the port city of Novorossiysk was struck in the attack.
Kondratiev reported material damage in Novorossiysk: 21 residential buildings and four commercial properties were hit during the strikes.
Casualties reported
"An eight-year-old child was killed in the city, and eight people were injured. In the coastal town Temryuk one man was killed", said Veniamin Kondratiev.
The governor’s comments identify Novorossiysk as the main site of damage on the Krasnodar coast; local officials also reported casualties in the nearby coastal town of Temryuk.
There has been no independent confirmation of the scale of the attack or of responsibility beyond the regional statements; authorities said emergency services were responding to the affected areas.
