Street in Skopje centre to be without water on 13 August for new mains connection
Water on Miroslav Krleža Street in Centar will be cut from 08:30 on 13 August 2026 while crews connect an F-100 millimeter pipe.

The Skopje public enterprise Vodovod i Kanalizacija has announced a scheduled interruption of water supply on Miroslav Krleža Street in the Centar municipality on 13 August 2026 (Thursday).
The stoppage is planned to allow crews to connect a new water main, specified as an F-100 millimeter line, at the address Miroslav Krleža bb.
Expected duration and affected area
Work is set to begin in the morning; water service will be suspended from 08:30 until the connection works are completed, the utility said. Residents and businesses on the street should prepare for a temporary loss of supply.
Vodovod i Kanalizacija urged users in the immediate area to store enough water for basic needs and to avoid waste while the teams are completing the connection. Emergency services and repairs will be prioritised to restore normal supply as soon as possible.
Municipal services will monitor the operation and provide updates if the schedule changes. Motorists are also advised to be cautious near work sites due to construction activity.
