Hydrometeorological Service: Clear cold morning, sunny and warm during the day
Nationwide lows -3–8°C and highs 22–28°C; Skopje 2–26°C, rain likely from Friday with locally heavy downpours.
The Hydrometeorological Service announced a clear and chilly start to the morning, followed by a sunny and relatively warm day with only slight to moderate, locally variable cloud cover.
Temperatures, wind and local outlook
Across the country the minimum temperature is expected to range from -3 to 8 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach between 22 and 28 degrees. Winds will be light to moderate from the south.
In Skopje conditions will be sunny and relatively warm with a few clouds. A light, variable wind is expected. Temperatures in the capital will drop to around 2 degrees in the morning and climb to a maximum near 26 degrees.
Looking ahead, Thursday will begin colder in the morning but otherwise remain mostly sunny with little to moderate cloudiness. From Friday into the weekend the weather will become more changeable, with intermittent rain showers that may be heavier in places.
Local rainfall during the unsettled period could be intense at times, accompanied by isolated thunder. Morning temperatures are forecast to trend upward as the week progresses.
