Alan Nascimento, 35, dies of heart attack — UFC confirms
UFC confirms 35-year-old flyweight Alan Nascimento died of a heart attack.
Brazilian mixed martial artist Alan Nascimento has died at the age of 35 after suffering a heart attack, the UFC announced on August 4, 2026.
Nascimento was found dead in his apartment; available information indicates he passed away in his sleep from a heart attack. Emergency services responded quickly but were unable to revive him.
Career and record
Nascimento fought in the flyweight division and began his professional MMA career in 2011. He made his UFC debut in 2021 and competed on the organisation's roster since then.
Across his career he compiled 22 wins and 7 losses. At the time of his death he was close to entering the flyweight top 15.
"Despite the rapid response of the emergency medical service, he died at the scene. Our thoughts are with Alan's family, to whom we extend our sincere condolences, and with his friends and companions in these extremely difficult moments," UFC said.
