Vardar welcome Struga Trim Lum on 02.11.2026 in a 12th-round derby with kickoff at 14:00; defender Gjorgije Jankulov wants three points.
Current champion Vardar hosts Struga Trim Lum at the Football Federation of North Macedonia complex on 02.11.2026 in the 12th round of the First Football League. Kickoff is scheduled for 14:00 and the match referee will be Done Ristovski.
Vardar aiming to keep momentum
Vardar arrive in the derby hoping to extend a positive run in the league and to move closer to the top of the table after a disappointing Cup performance against Tikvesh. The coaching staff has emphasised the need to reset quickly ahead of today’s clash.
Right-back Gjorgije Jankulov described the mood in the dressing room as optimistic and said the squad is focused on three points.
“We are playing a derby match against Struga Trim Lum and we will try to continue the successful run of results that we have in the championship. We wish for three points, given that our ambitions are to reach first position on the table. The last Cup match is forgotten and we hope that it was only one bad day. To achieve success in today’s match against Struga Trim Lum, we will have to minimise mistakes,” Jankulov said.
Vardar will look to tighten up defensively and avoid errors that could hand Struga Trim Lum opportunities. The outcome will be important for both sides as the league season enters its second third.
