Vardar seeks revenge in Plock, Ivan Čupić: We must be better to get our first points
After a 32–26 defeat at home, coach Ivan Čupić says his team must be better in defence and attack to fight for the first points.

Vardar travels to Plock on Wednesday at 20:45 to meet Wisła Płock in the fourth round of the EHF Champions League, aiming to respond after a home defeat in the opening leg.
Six days after losing 32-26 in Skopje, the current Macedonian champion arrives in Poland determined to produce a better performance and to fight for its first points in this season's Champions League.
Coach Ivan Čupić demands improvements
Head coach Ivan Čupić highlighted the need for progress on both ends of the court and urged his players to correct mistakes from the first encounter.
“Whenever you lose a match, it's clear that you can and must be better. Wisła was the favourite in Skopje, and will be an even bigger favourite when we play on their court. I don't think that in front of our fans we played as badly as it may have looked because of Wisła's dominance. We analysed the match and there is certainly room for improvement in our play, both in defence and in attack.
I believe that with good energy and greater self-confidence we can play a strong and quality match. We want to present ourselves again in a positive light in the Champions League. In the remaining three matches, as in the first three, we want to be competitive and fight for our first points and first victory. We also want to continue having something to play for and to keep progressing,” Čupić said before the game.
Vardar will try to translate those words into results in Plock and to set a platform for the remaining group fixtures.
