Halftime — Vardar 1–1 Sileks: Danev early, Andjeleski reply
Fourth-round meeting in Skopje: Danev put Vardar ahead in the 3rd minute, Andjeleski equalised in the 37th.
Halftime at the Arena: Vardar and Sileks are level at 1–1 after the first 45 minutes of the fourth-round fixture in Skopje. Vardar opened the scoring in the 3rd minute through Danev, assisted by Spahiu, while Sileks pulled level in the 37th minute when Andjeleski found the net.
Early strike and open first half
The match started sharply, with Vardar taking an immediate lead and both sides then trading chances in an open, attacking half. Vardar threatened again when, with a move started by Spahiu, Dzekov struck the crossbar and had another opportunity later before the break.
Sileks grew into the game and created several dangerous moments of their own. Shero had a presentable one-on-one opportunity earlier and then again came close in the 44th minute when he could have given the visitors the lead, but Taleski produced a superb save to deny him.
Hasukic also tested the Vardar defence in the first half, and the overall balance of play left Sileks wondering if they should have gone into the interval ahead. Both teams look capable of changing the outcome in the second half.
The second 45 minutes will decide whether Vardar can reassert control at the Arena or if Sileks will complete the comeback and take points from the capital.
