MIA launches web app for foreign drivers to check and pay "Bezbeden grad" fines

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) announced the launch of a mobile‑friendly web application named "Bezbeden grad" aimed at foreign citizens who own or drive vehicles with foreign license plates.

What the app does

Through the application, foreign drivers can directly retrieve information about traffic violations recorded by the "Bezbeden grad" system, review issued misdemeanor payment orders and pay fines electronically, the ministry said.

"Upon logging in, the driver must photograph or scan their travel document and enter the registration of the vehicle or vehicles they use in our country," the MIA said.

According to the ministry, the tool is intended to simplify contact with enforcement data for non‑resident motorists: once a vehicle is registered in the system as having committed an offense anywhere in the country, the foreign driver can be notified and settle the obligation online.

The MIA emphasised that the service should reduce the need for additional holds at border crossings, allowing drivers to resolve fines without returning to a checkpoint or engaging in lengthy administrative procedures.
