Czech Deputy PM Petr Macinka on a two-day official visit to North Macedonia

Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Petr Macinka is undertaking an official two-day visit to North Macedonia at the invitation of Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski.

During the visit the two ministers will hold a bilateral meeting in Ohrid, followed by a plenary session between delegations of the two foreign ministries. Mucunski and Macinka are scheduled to appear together at a joint press conference in Villa "Ohrid".

Programme and public events

Macinka will also be one of the speakers at the Ambassadors' Council, which is being held in the country again after several years. The visit is presented as an opportunity to strengthen diplomatic ties and advance cooperation between the two governments.

Separately, Macedonian ambassadors will meet in Skopje after seven years — the gathering will be used to coordinate positions and distribute assignments among the diplomatic corps.

The official two-day schedule foresees the bilateral talks and the plenary session in Ohrid, followed by the public appearance at Villa "Ohrid" and participation in the Ambassadors' Council.
