A clip of 48-year-old Viktor Dimitrievski from Kumanovo singing a current youth hit has gone viral across social media, reigniting interest in the singer who won the talent show Nikogash ne e docna.
From talent-show triumph to online sensation
In one of his recent performances, Dimitrievski surprised viewers by tackling the 20-year-old Jakov Jozinović’s pop hit "Ja volim." Right from the first bars his powerful, distinctive voice reshaped the song and injected it with new energy, prompting a strong reaction from the audience.
The video spread quickly on social networks and drew a steady stream of praise. Fans wrote: "Bravo Viktor, the song choice is on trend!", "Rarely positive and sincere song, keep spreading this energy!" and "Bravo, every genre suits you perfectly!"
Those who followed the TV competition already know Dimitrievski as the winner of the 11th season of Nikogash ne e docna. During the final he introduced a purely Macedonian melody, performing the timeless "Kirjana vino prodava," a moment that mobilized the Macedonian diaspora and secured his decisive victory.
Outside the stage, Dimitrievski is a trained electrical engineer who works as an energy policy consultant. Despite his professional career, his vocal talent and charm earned him the nickname "the Macedonian Zdravko Čolić."
With each new post and live performance since the show, Dimitrievski has continued to confirm that his title was well deserved and that he remains a favorite across generations.
