Viktor Orbán filmed at Guča trumpet festival, seen with MOL executive and architect

Former Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán was filmed at the Guča Trumpet Festival in western Serbia this weekend, appearing relaxed as he walked among the crowds and posed for photos, footage released by the regional news agency RINA shows.

In the recordings Orbán is accompanied by Oszkár Világi, a longstanding MOL Group executive, and architect Dániel Taraczky. Világi has been described in Hungarian media as a billionaire of Slovak origin and a close friend of the former prime minister; Taraczky is the lead designer linked to the Hatvanpuszta estate associated with Orbán's family.

The video clips show Orbán moving through the festival grounds, enjoying performances by brass bands and taking pictures with attendees. According to the reporting that accompanied the footage, Világi attended with him and Taraczky was also present at the gathering.

Dániel Taraczky has been frequently named in coverage of the Hatvanpuszta redevelopment as the main architect; that project has drawn scrutiny from opposition politicians who have questioned how and with what funds the large estate was constructed. Oszkár Világi’s business profile and ties to Hungarian economic circles have been reported in multiple outlets.

Small-town festival, big names

The Guča Trumpet Festival — an annual brass-band gathering in the Dragačevo region — draws hundreds of thousands of visitors and is a centerpiece of Serbian musical tradition. High-profile guests and international visitors frequently appear among the crowds during the multi-day event.

The video released by RINA circulated on social platforms after the festival, prompting renewed attention on Orbán’s personal connections and on the figures seen accompanying him.
