Viktor Petkov leaves Movement ZNAM and joins SDSM
SDSM announced last night that the Kisela Voda ZNAM municipal chair joined SDSM and accused ZNAM leader Maksim Dimitrievski of betraying voters.

The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) announced late last night that Viktor Petkov, the chairman of Movement ZNAM’s municipal organization in Kisela Voda, has left ZNAM and joined SDSM.
SDSM said the move shows that people are returning to the party because they recognize it as “the only uncontrolled opposition,” and that the party’s doors remain open to new members.
Accusations against ZNAM leadership
In its statement, SDSM accused ZNAM leader Maksim Dimitrievski of breaking promises to voters, using the party for personal business interests and abandoning both the party and its supporters.
Commenting on recent developments, SDSM added: "Similar lies are now being told about the ZNAM 2.0 Platform. ZNAM was a satellite of Mickoski used to fragment the opposition and is now slowly fading. MPs left, councilors left, and people who led municipal organisations are leaving too. We will continue together to fight against the crimes of the government, for a better life for citizens," the party said.
The SDSM post included a photograph that showed Viktor Petkov together with SDSM leader Venko Filipche.
