Government provides 50,000 liters of free water daily to Gostivar
Distribution starts today through designated points while controls and investigations continue.
The Government has decided to provisionally provide, from today and over the coming days, 50,000 liters of free drinking water daily for the citizens of Gostivar in order to meet the basic needs of the population while the measures and recommendations of the competent institutions remain in effect.
The operation is organized through the Government's Service for General and Common Affairs, which will carry out the distribution through a number of designated points in the city.

- JP National Forests – "Shar" Branch Gostivar, Brakja Gjinoski St. no. 165
- AD ESM – Branch by the garages (bakehouse), Ilindenska St.
- General Hospital "Ferid Murad" – parking, Chede Filipovski St. no. 29
- Territorial Firefighting Unit – Gostivar, Belichica St. no. 35
All competent institutions, as stated, continue with intensive inspections, analyses and investigative actions to determine the causes of the situation.
In a statement from the Government they said: "We expect a full clarification of the case, and anyone who is found to bear responsibility will be held accountable in accordance with the law. We appeal to citizens to follow the recommendations of the competent institutions and to obtain information exclusively through official channels, in order to be informed in a timely and accurate manner."
The Government's priority, the cabinet points out, remains the protection of citizens' health, a swift institutional response and the complete resolution of the situation; the Government will continue to take everything necessary to provide support until the situation is normalized.
