Bečići in September: apartments €40, pizzas €10, breakfasts €5
Milder weather and smaller crowds stretch the Budva Riviera season while restaurants and apartments offer lower, tourist-friendly prices.
Bečići is keeping its summer feel well into September as visitors find noticeably lower prices and thinner crowds on the Budva Riviera. Local hospitality operators report steady occupancy after the high season, and everyday menu items are being offered at tourist-friendly rates.
Accessible prices and a stretched season
Owners of restaurants and apartments say this year’s demand did not peak sharply and then collapse, but remained more evenly spread over the summer. “There wasn't that classic peak, and then a sharp drop. Practically it was full the whole time. Now it's September and there are still guests,” hospitality operators describe the situation.
Basic breakfast options in seaside restaurants start at around €5. In one Bečići restaurant, pancakes cost €5, while fried bread with ham and cheese is available for €5.50. An omelette with extras is €6, and a heartier “Olympic” breakfast that includes eggs, bacon, cheese, tomatoes, green salad and prosciutto is €8.
Pizza prices are similarly modest: a 400 g Margherita is €10, a Caprese €12, pepperoni and tuna pizzas €13, a four-cheese pizza €13.50 and a prosciutto pizza €14. Larger, more elaborate options can reach up to €16. Soft drinks and beer cost about €3.20, keeping a meal for two affordable for many tourists.
Private accommodation also becomes cheaper in September. Depending on location, size and on-site amenities, apartments can be found for roughly €40 per night. That price drop combined with milder weather and fewer crowds attracts travellers who purposely avoid July and August.
Local tourism professionals say the number of these late-summer visitors is growing. Instead of a short, intense high-season spike followed by rapid emptying, demand is spreading over a longer period — a pattern that benefits both guests and tourism workers. If the good weather continues, operators expect the favourable occupancy to hold through much of September, reinforcing the idea that the Budva Riviera’s season no longer ends with the last day of August.
