Skopje to get new Luna Park with roller coaster, Ferris wheel and VR zones
City of Skopje says the expanded park will include a roller coaster, panoramic Ferris wheel, water attractions and virtual reality zones and finish by end of 2027.

Published: 18 October 2026 09:30. The City of Skopje has announced plans for a new Luna Park, a larger modern amusement complex aimed at visitors of all ages. The project is billed to include both family-friendly and more adrenaline-focused attractions and to occupy a greater footprint than the former park.
The outline released by city officials lists a roller coaster, a panoramic Ferris wheel, water attractions, interactive games and virtual reality zones among the headline features. In addition, organisers say the park will keep classic fairground rides alongside the new installations.
Some equipment has already been bought under a previous contract. The city says seven pieces from that earlier agreement will be installed "within one month of publication" and work on preparing the site will run in parallel.
Procurement and budget
A new tender will be launched to secure the remaining attractions; the City of Skopje says the value of the upcoming contract will be less than €10,000,000. The announcement does not list the exact names or types of the seven items already acquired, nor does it give a final count of total attractions planned for the park.
The planned location expands into parts of City Park previously used for summer discos. Construction and installation of rides are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2027.
