Disturbing video from Gostivar: brutal beating on the street
The footage shows a boy who is kicked in the head and then brutally struck with a wooden stick; authorities have been notified.
A disturbing video from Gostivar was received by our newsroom.
Boy falls unconscious, then hit with a wooden stick
The footage shows a larger group of young people fighting in the street. At one point a boy falls onto the asphalt after being kicked in the head and appears to be unconscious.
While the victim does not move, another person approaches him and with powerful blows strikes him with a wooden stick; the blows are so strong that the stick breaks on his back.
So far there is no information about the identities of the participants or the motive for the attack. Our newsroom has forwarded the footage to the Ministry of Interior and we expect official information.
All witnesses or persons who have additional footage or information are urged to contact the Ministry of Interior to help clarify what happened.
