Emergency Medical Service employee threatened with a sharp object in Karposh
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that an employee of the Emergency Medical Service directed threats with a sharp object in a health facility in Karposh.
An employee of the Emergency Medical Service threatened medical personnel with a sharp object in a health institution in the municipality of Karposh, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon.
“On 09.08.2026 at 19:30 it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that around 16:50 in a health institution in the Karposh area, F.S. – an employee of the Emergency Medical Service – behaved aggressively and with a sharp object directed threats at the medical staff,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
From the report it appears that the public was informed around 19:30, while the event itself is stated to have occurred around 16:50.
Investigation of the case
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said measures are being taken to clarify the case. The police did not provide additional details about the motive or any possible injured persons.
The police and other relevant services will determine the circumstances and reasons for the aggressive behavior; additional information will be released after the investigation is concluded.
