Aleksandar Vučić concedes defeat in Serbia's early elections
Vučić said the Student Blockade List secured about 135–140 mandates while his list won around 105, citing vote totals and CRTA figures.

Aleksandar Vučić publicly conceded defeat in Serbia's early parliamentary elections, speaking from the campaign headquarters of the Serbian Progressive Party. He said the rival Student Blockade List outpolled his list and gave precise vote and seat estimates.
"It is clear that we lost these elections, the Student Blockade list will have 135-140 mandates, we will have about 105 mandates. We have about 1 720 000 votes, they have about 2 200 000. Because they said that someone would run away and pack suitcases, as if someone is afraid and will hide, they lied. They lied about everything they said," Vučić said.
Vučić is the lead candidate on the "United Serbia" list and delivered the remarks from the Serbian Progressive Party's election center. He stressed that, despite the result, he is proud of what his camp achieved and vowed his group will continue to fight and demonstrate what opposition means in practice.
Election numbers and observers
Vučić framed the vote as a verification of what he called a broader political upheaval, saying it had been carried out by "several European countries and structures in the United States who are against Trump."
According to figures published by the observer organisation CRTA, the Student Blockade List won 51.47 percent of the vote, while the list led by Vučić received 40.42 percent.
