58-year-old from Raven detained after police seize drugs and pistol ammunition

Police officers from the Gostivar Department of Internal Affairs have detained a 58-year-old resident of the village of Raven, Gostivar, on suspicion of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs.

Officers carried out a search of the suspect's house and outbuildings under a court order. During the search authorities found and seized a white powdery substance, marijuana and pistol bullets.

Evidence secured, investigation ongoing

The detained man is being held at a police station while investigators complete evidence collection and formal case documentation.

When prosecutors and investigators finalize the file, an appropriate charge will be filed against him.

Police said the case remains under investigation as they continue to establish all circumstances surrounding the alleged illegal production and trade in narcotics.
