Renovation begins on two streets in Gorno Lisiche

Aerodrom Municipality has started construction works to reconstruct two streets in Gorno Lisiche, which will renew the roadway and replace the tamping layer on short sections.

The first section is "Gjorgji Kapchev 22" — 221 meters long, where 838 square meters will be paved. At the same time, work will also be carried out on a section of the street "Bozhin Nikolov", 268 meters long, with a total asphalt surface of 994 square meters.

Improving the foundation for longer-lasting infrastructure

After the removal of the old asphalt, the tamping layer on both streets will be replaced with a 30-centimeter-thick layer to ensure higher-quality, safer and longer-lasting road infrastructure. These activities are part of the project to reconstruct 18 streets within the territory of Aerodrom Municipality.

The reconstruction was announced by Mayor Dejan Miteski about a year ago, when he published the projects for which he received funds from the Government and which were selected in the second public call.

Municipal authorities say the works are being carried out in phases across several neighborhoods. Parking spaces in Novo Lisiche have been marked for months, and there is still no date set for the start of zonal parking.
