UNI Banka's H1 2026 profit nearly halved to 114.5 million denars

UNI Banka reported a net profit of 114.5 million denars for the first six months of 2026 (about €1.86 million), a sharp decline from 203 million denars (about €3.3 million) in the same period last year.

According to figures published on the Macedonian Stock Exchange, the bank's net interest income fell by 1.21 percent to 592.6 million denars (about €9.6 million). Net fee and commission income also declined, down 5 percent to 109.7 million denars (about €1.79 million).

Balance-sheet movements in H1 2026

Total assets at the end of June stood at 30.5 billion denars, representing a 2.5 percent decrease compared with the end of last year. Loans and receivables from customers (excluding banks) rose by 3.5 percent to 21.5 billion denars, while customer deposits fell by 0.8 percent to 23.5 billion denars.

Market trading data show UNI Banka's shares were last quoted at 6,526 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchange.

The mid-year financials reflect narrower interest and commission earnings alongside modest growth in lending and a small contraction in deposits and total assets; the bank's full-year outcome will depend on developments in the coming quarters.
