Zekirija Ramadani appointed head coach of Gjilani

Zekirija Ramadani has been officially announced as the new head coach of Gjilani. The club confirmed the appointment on October 16, 2026, marking Ramadani's return to the Kosovan side.
Return to the dugout where he succeeded before
Ramadani previously managed Gjilani in the 2022/23 season, when the team secured a place in European competition and reached the Kosovo Cup final. Those achievements were highlighted as part of the rationale for bringing him back.
At the club's presentation the leadership did not hide their satisfaction with Ramadani's comeback. Immediately after the official ceremony the coach led his first training session with the squad.
Popularly known as Zeko, Ramadani arrives with the experience from his earlier stint at Gjilani and an expectation to build on the club's recent ambitions in domestic and regional competitions.
