Zelenskyy on Russian strike in Ukraine: 25 killed, including five children
The Ukrainian president condemned the strike on Pryluky and tied it to Vladimir Putin's birthday.

At least 25 people were killed and about 100 wounded in a new Russian strike on Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The assault, Zelenskyy said, involved the use of ballistic and cruise missiles as well as Shahed drones.
Hardest hit: Pryluky
The town of Pryluky in Chernihiv Oblast suffered the heaviest damage. According to Ukrainian authorities, an X-101 missile hit a five-storey residential building directly. Nineteen people died in that single strike, including five children, and 55 others were injured.
Zelenskyy sharply condemned the attack and linked it to the Russian president's birthday. "This is the gift Putin gave himself for his birthday — killing children and people," he said.
He also urged world leaders not to remain silent about events in Ukraine.
