Earthquake ML 3.9 felt this morning in the Ohrid–Struga area

An earthquake with a local Richter magnitude, ML 3.9, was recorded this morning at 05:40 in the epicentral area of Ohrid–Struga, roughly 135 km southwest of Skopje.
Seismic readings and where it was felt
The tremor was felt across the southwestern parts of the country, most noticeably in Ohrid and the surrounding settlements. Observers reported a felt intensity of IV on the European Macroseismic Scale.
The Seismological Observatory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje registered the event and provided the magnitude and location details.
No further technical details were included in the initial bulletin; authorities and monitoring services continue to track any subsequent seismic activity in the region.
The measurement places the epicentral zone in the Ohrid–Struga area and confirms the timing and magnitude as ML 3.9 at 05:40, about 135 km southwest of Skopje.
