Žalgiris pulled off a dramatic comeback to beat Barcelona 88-81 at the Palau Blaugrana on October 9, 2026, in a Round 4 EuroLeague game.

The Lithuanian side trailed through much of the second half, but Karsen Edwards erupted in the fourth quarter. The American guard hit four three-pointers in the final period and completely swung the momentum in Žalgiris's favor.

With three minutes remaining the score was tied 76-76. Žalgiris took the lead from the free-throw line, and then Marius Grigonis drilled a huge three at the end of the shot clock to push the visitors four points ahead.

Justin Robinson answered for Barcelona, but Edwards immediately replied with another triple. Ulanovas then converted a difficult hook shot with 65 seconds left to make it a six-point game for Žalgiris.

Final moments and wider weekend results

Žalgiris preserved the lead in the closing minute and claimed their second EuroLeague victory of the season, moving level with Barcelona on the standings — both teams now have two wins and two losses.

Top performer for the winners was Karsen Edwards with 19 points and seven assists. For Barcelona the only player in double figures was Justin Robinson, who finished with 20 points.

Elsewhere in the round, Olympiacos defeated Anadolu Efes 89-66, while Beşiktaş beat Baskonia 92-84.
