Woman born in Shtip reported missing in Croatia while charged in murder case

A 33-year-old woman born in Shtip, identified by initials B.P., has been reported missing in Croatia. Croatian authorities record her disappearance on 17 August and say she left with her minor child.

B.P. was charged last year in a case connected to the violent death of A.S., 34, a man from Zenica whose death is linked to events in Karlovac. The disappearance is being investigated by Croatian police.

Charges and alleged role

Prosecutors say B.P. is accused of knowing that A.S. had been killed, and that she assumed ownership of his car using a forged contract. For the killing itself, a 25-year-old suspect identified as J.U. has been charged.

According to the indictment, J.U. overpowered A.S., beat him and threw him into the Kupa River.

The Croatian Ministry of the Interior (MUP) is handling the missing-person inquiry and has asked anyone with information to contact the police.
