Woman killed in stabbing at school in Leshchidul-Novini; 15-year-old pupil arrested
A 15-year-old pupil was detained after a porter was fatally stabbed and two people were injured at a primary school about 70 km east of Warsaw.

A 37-year-old woman was killed and two other people were injured in a stabbing at a primary school in Leshchidul-Novini, Poland, authorities said. A 15-year-old pupil was arrested at the scene.
"Police arrested a 15-year-old boy after he attacked three adults at the school. One of the injured, a school porter, succumbed to her injuries," said local police on X.

Police said the boy fatally stabbed the porter at his former school and wounded two other people in Leshchidul-Novini, a small settlement about 70 kilometres east of Warsaw. Initial reports indicated three wounded, but officials later confirmed one of them had died.
The arrest was carried out by local officers who responded to the incident at the school. Authorities have not released the names of the victims or given further details about the condition of the two survivors.
The attack comes a day after a separate incident in Poland, when a 19-year-old pupil armed with a knife injured ten people at a vocational school in Ostrołęka, northeast of Warsaw.
Local police said investigations are under way. Officials asked the public to avoid speculating while they gather evidence and review the circumstances surrounding both attacks.
