Skopje police issue 102 sanctions for speeding during 11 October control

Skopje police issued a total of 102 sanctions for speeding during an enforcement operation carried out on 11 October.

The action was conducted by the Department for Road Traffic Safety at the Skopje Police Department on 11 October, in the period from 14:00 to 20:00.

Alongside the 102 speeding penalties, officers imposed three additional measures for other traffic violations. One driver was caught operating a vehicle without a driving licence; a criminal complaint will be filed against that person under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code.

Police warning and ongoing checks

Police emphasised that everyone who breaks traffic regulations will face the legally prescribed fines. They also said controls will continue in the coming days.

Authorities appealed to road users to respect the rules and help increase safety on the roads.
