14-year-old injured with a knife in school restroom in Bit Pazar, Skopje
Mother reported the attack that happened at about 09:00; the Ministry of Interior says the boy suffered a cut to his arm.
A 14-year-old boy was injured after being attacked with a knife by a classmate inside a school restroom in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, police said.
The boy’s mother filed a report with the Skopje Police Department after the incident, which occurred at about 09:00 yesterday in a primary school toilet.
"At the Skopje Police Department yesterday at 13:00, F.A. (43) from Skopje reported that at around 09:00 in a toilet at a primary school in the Bit Pazar area, her 14-year-old son was attacked by a classmate with a sharp object, inflicting a cut to the arm," the Ministry of Interior said.
Authorities stated the wound was a cut to the arm; no further personal details about the pupils were released.
The police said they are taking measures to clarify the circumstances of the case and continue their investigation.
