Three fires remain active and two are under control; 15 were extinguished during the last 24 hours.

As of 07:30, authorities registered a total of 20 open‑space fires across the country, the Center for Crisis Management reported.

Three fires remained active this morning, two were listed as under control and 15 had been extinguished.

Active incidents and areas

The active blazes were recorded near Krivogaštani, along the route between the villages of Podvis and Krivogaštani, where low vegetation is burning; in Resen, in the village of Evla, where garbage and low vegetation are on fire; and in Kumanovo, in the village of Pčinje, where garbage and low vegetation are burning.

Two incidents were reported as under control. One spans the Makedonski Brod and Sopište municipalities near the village of Belica, at a location called Kajorec, with the fire spreading toward Jasen and affecting low‑stem and mixed forest. The other under‑control fire is in Novo Selo municipality near the village of Badilen and involves forest.

During the past 24 hours crews extinguished 15 fires, including outbreaks in Skopje, Bitola, Debar, Štip, Karbinci, Vinica, Berovo, Kumanovo, Rankovce and Tetovo.

The Center for Crisis Management continues to monitor the situation and to coordinate response activities with the responsible services.
