31 outdoor fires in past 24 hours — four still active
Crisis Management Center reports active blazes near Studenichani, Caska and Lipkovo; the rest have been put out.
The Crisis Management Center reported that 31 outdoor fires were recorded in the past 24 hours up to 7:30 a.m. this morning, of which four remain active and the rest have been extinguished.
Four active blazes in Studenichani, Caska and Lipkovo
One active fire is burning in the municipality of Studenichani, between the villages of Drachevica and Cvetovo, at a location known as "Kaldired", where low vegetation is on fire.
In the municipality of Caska, in the area of the village Jabolchishte at a site known as "Bikov Grob", beech and oak forest, krivulj and low vegetation are burning.
The other two active fires are on the territory of Lipkovo municipality: a pine and low-stemmed forest blaze at a site called "Guri Ku" in the region of the village Strima, and a low-vegetation fire in the village Matejche.
Of the fires that have been extinguished, three were on the Prilep territory, and two each in the municipalities of Vinica, Vrapchishte, Kumanovo and Mogila. The remaining incidents occurred in the regions of Aerodrom, Bitola, Bosilovo, Vasilevo, Gazi Baba, Debarca, Demir Hisar, Dolneni, Kochani, Kratovo, Makedonska Kamenica, Novaci, Saraj, Centar, Chair and Shtip.
