Alexandra, daughter of Saša Popović, will marry soon, says Suzana
The singer talks about the support she received after Saša Popović's death and that her daughter Alexandra is preparing for marriage.

Suzana Jovanović says her daughter Alexandra will marry soon, and the singer spoke openly about the support she has received since the death of her husband, Saša Popović.
Family, support and new beginnings
Suzana told the television program Premijera Vikend Specijal that kind words from friends and acquaintances have meant a great deal to her in recent months. She described small gestures of care as more valuable than any material help.
"Thanks to dear God, I don't need anything, only a kind word. It is free, it doesn't cost. Keba would come and always ask how I am, how I'm holding up. There are others here too, but again I say, they don't need to come, nor do they have any obligation to me that they owe me something, that they must do something. Today you don't have to do anything if you don't want to. I don't expect anything from my children either, they are grown people, soon I'll have a son‑in‑law and my Alexandra is getting married, everyone is here, the house is full, may I have a house full of grandchildren. I love people, even those who hurt me. I don't want to carry that burden on my back my whole life," she said.
Suzana also commented on friends who have not visited Saša's grave. She said she does not see their absence as something dramatic and that those who feel they owe him will come to light a candle on their own.
"I didn't take it so dramatically; they don't have to come to the memorial. For Saša, everyone for whom he did something will feel the need to come and light a candle. We'll see at the next anniversary who shows up, less and less. We all live a fast life, everyone hurriedly wants to do something, to create…" she explained.
About her daughter's forthcoming wedding, Suzana added: "My children are grown people, Alexandra will soon walk down the aisle, here is my son‑in‑law Igor. It's time for mom to dedicate herself to herself."
Alexandra Popović has stepped away from two university programs, completed training in nail services and recently started working as a designer of unique jewellery. Suzana recalled that Saša had once said they had bought apartments and commercial premises for their children to make sure they were provided for.
"It is important for us to be close. Because I'm retired, someone to visit me in old age, and for us to be close to them, God willing grandchildren. We equipped their apartments; that is the most beautiful New Year's gift for them. They are really modest, they didn't ask for this, it was my and Suzana's wish," Suzana recalled, quoting her late husband.
