Pelister signs American Jade Watson and Canadian Natalie Funk
Bitola’s women’s first-league club signed American opposite Jade Watson and Canadian outside hitter Natalie Funk on 02.08.2026.
Pelister, the women's first-league volleyball club from Bitola, announced two international signings ahead of the new season on 02.08.2026. The club confirmed the arrivals of American Jade Watson and Canadian Natalie Funk as additions to the roster.
Jade Watson joins Pelister as an opposite. Watson arrives from Atlanta, where she has been playing for Life University (Georgia).
Canadian reinforcement
Natalie Funk is the second newcomer. The Canadian is transferring from the University of British Columbia in Okanagan (UBC Okanagan) and will strengthen Pelister's outside-hitter/receiver group.
Both signings are intended to bolster the Bitola side’s attacking options and provide experience ahead of the domestic campaign. The club said the new players will join team preparations immediately and are expected to feature in Pelister’s roster for the upcoming season.
Pelister will use the new additions to compete in the national first league, aiming to improve on last season’s results as the coaching staff completes the squad for the competitive calendar ahead.
