Ana Bekuta takes a break from Zvezde Granda after 12 years
The singer says she felt saturated and will pause judging duties to record songs and prepare a tour.

Ana Bekuta appeared in public for the first time after announcing she would step away from the talent show Zvezde Granda, a programme she had been part of for 12 years. Bekuta told reporters she has reached a point of saturation and needs a break from the show's filming schedule.
She attended Keba's concert at Tašmajdan and answered questions with a smile
Last night Bekuta was at Tašmajdan to see Dragan Kojić Keba perform. When complimented on her appearance she laughed and told Serbian media: "I'm not giving up — what would you want, for an old woman to wander around here?"
Speaking about the reasons behind her decision, Bekuta said the announcement did not upset her. "That news did not upset me, I want to rest a little," she said, adding that she has not formally left the show's team yet and will do so when filming resumes.
She explained that filming had taken up a large part of her free time and that she wants to devote herself to her career in a different way. "I need to record songs, to organise a tour," Bekuta said.
Describing how the choice came about, she said: "I didn't make the decision with difficulty. One morning I woke up and told myself that I had to take a pause. I became saturated, if I may put it that way. Maybe the break will be good so we miss each other." Bekuta also noted that the Grand team told her during their conversation that she could come by to promote songs whenever she wished.
