Actions and seizures on 18 September 2026
According to information released by the ANB, the investigative actions were executed on 18 September 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to detect and disrupt propaganda activities that the agency assesses aim to influence public discourse in favour of foreign interests.
During a search of the suspect's residence, objects were found and seized; those items are currently subject to further forensic examination.
The ANB reported that there is a suspicion the person committed criminal offences under the Criminal Code: causing national, racial and religious hatred, discord and intolerance (article 319), disclosure of an official secret (article 360) and spreading racist and xenophobic material through a computer system (article 394-g).
Authorities say the measures form part of a continuous programme of monitoring and counteraction against activities perceived as foreign-influenced attempts to shape domestic debate. The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office is leading the criminal procedure after the investigative steps.
No names or further operational details were released while the forensic and prosecutorial procedures continue.
