Andrijana Janevska: My son was born with a foot deformity, now he’s doing well

Singer Andrijana Janevska opened up about a difficult family moment after the birth of her younger son, Kristijan, revealing that doctors found a deformity in his foot.

Janevska recounted the experience on the show "Mamavizija," where she spoke about motherhood, her two pregnancies and the upbringing of her sons Dimitar and Kristijan.

After Kristijan was born, medical staff informed the family that he had a foot deformity. The news was frightening, Janevska said, and her first reaction was to ask whether the condition could be treated: "When the doctors told me that Kristijan had a deformity of the foot, I only asked, 'is there a solution?'"

Orthopaedic specialists recommended beginning treatment immediately. Janevska and her husband, Dragan Ginovski – Gino, took the baby to Ohrid every five days for a corrective procedure that used special boots to help straighten the foot.

She emphasized the importance of local medical expertise during that period and said that today her son is in excellent shape. Janevska framed her account as encouragement for other parents facing similar challenges: seek prompt professional help and don't lose hope.

In the same conversation she described both pregnancies as largely uncomplicated, while noting that the deliveries differed: the birth of the older son Dimitar lasted longer, whereas Kristijan was born much faster after she experienced intense pains during the night.
