Macedonian doctors’ association in Germany to hold inaugural congress on 7 November 2026
The Assoziation Mazedonischer Ärzte und Zahnärzte in Deutschland GbR organizes "Medicine Connects 2026" on 7 November in Solingen.

An association of Macedonian doctors and dentists based in Germany has been formed and will hold its first interdisciplinary congress on 7 November 2026 in Solingen.
New association, first congress in Solingen
The group, registered under the German name Assoziation Mazedonischer Ärzte und Zahnärzte in Deutschland GbR, says it brings together Macedonian physicians and dentists who live and work successfully in Germany. The inaugural congress, titled "Medicine Connects 2026 – Interdisciplinary Decisions and Patient Safety", will take place in the Civic Hall of the City Church in Solingen (Kirchplatz 14, 42651 Solingen).
Organizers say many members hold senior posts in German healthcare institutions — including professors, private lecturers (Privatdozenten), department heads, primarii and leading consultants. The association intends to create a professional network to make the contributions of Macedonian practitioners more visible and to foster cooperation between the two countries' medical communities.
"In our approach to different health systems, we practice a highly successful form of civic and scientific diplomacy (Science Diplomacy) whereby we want to combine the best of Macedonian and German society, advance medical progress and represent both countries at the highest level. Our goal is to promote medical excellence and to promote intercultural competence. The conference in Solingen now makes visible this hitherto invisible bridge between the health systems in Germany and Macedonia," says Dr. Blashko Dimkovski, who will be appointed president of the association.
Speakers and participants at the 7 November event are expected to discuss topics including the professional clustering of Macedonian specialists abroad, knowledge transfer and integration into the German healthcare system. The congress is presented as a platform for exchange and for strengthening ties that could support academic cooperation and patient safety initiatives.
Organizers describe the event as the network's public debut and a step toward formalizing collaboration among Macedonian medical professionals in Germany.
